The Best Connection Darlington is currently recruiting 4 experienced Class 1 (C+E) drivers for a fantastic 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity with one of our trusted clients.

This role offers a great work-life balance with Monday to Friday work, guaranteed hours, and no weekends. If you're looking for long-term stability, excellent pay, and a supportive traffic office team, we want to hear from you.

While on Temp Contract (first 12 weeks):

• £15.14 per hour (up to 50 hours)

• £22.71 per hour overtime (after 50 hours)

• £25 per night out

Once Permanent:

• Annual Salary: £41,158.00

• Guaranteed 50 hours per week

• Overtime paid at 1.5x after 50 hours

• 45-minute break deducted daily

• Monday to Friday - no weekend work

• 20 days holiday + 8 statutory bank holidays

• Christmas period off (T&Cs apply - annual leave may be used)

• DCPC training fully funded

• Brand new fleet being introduced within 6-9 months

• Friendly and professional traffic office team

• Temp to perm contract offering long-term employment

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence

• Up-to-date DCPC and Tacho card

• Professional and flexible attitude

• Willingness to night out when required (not every night)
