Quality Supervisor

£29,328 per annum (£14.10/hour)
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (occasional Saturdays and overtime as required)

Are you passionate about quality and food safety? We are a well-established and growing meat processing business supplying major UK supermarkets, food service providers, and meal kit companies. We're on the lookout for a Quality Supervisor to join our team and ensure our high standards are upheld across all areas of production.

The Role:
You will be responsible for ensuring that raw materials, intermediate, and finished products consistently meet strict quality and food safety standards. Duties will include:

Conducting hourly quality checks and inspections

Performing label verifications

Monitoring and recording air temperatures

Calibrating weighing scales and temperature probes

Collecting product samples for lab testing

Carrying out equine testing

Completing low-level internal audits (e.g. black bag audits)

Adapting to changing quality requirements based on business needs

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in a quality or food safety role

Basic Food Hygiene and HACCP certification (required)

Familiarity with health & safety procedures

Basic PC skills

Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset

Background in food manufacturing is desirable but not essential
