Position: HLTA (SEN - Post-16, ASDAN)

Location: Redditch, B91

Start Date: ASAP / As agreed

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support our Post-16 SEN students on the ASDAN programme at a welcoming school in Redditch. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Support students with Special Educational Needs in a Post-16 setting.

Deliver and assist with the ASDAN curriculum and related activities.

Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and support staff to ensure student progress.

Encourage independence, personal development, and positive behaviour.

Assist with planning, resources, and assessment as needed.

Requirements:

HLTA qualification or significant experience supporting SEN students.

Experience with Post-16 learners and/or ASDAN programmes preferred.

Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to individual student needs.
