Equifind have partnered with a UK-based Investment Bank to recruit a Group Financial Accountant for their London team.

The Group Financial Accountant will act as a key liaison between finance and the wider business. The role requires a strong mix of technical expertise, commercial acumen, and interpersonal skills to deliver financial analysis, strategic guidance, and support to senior management and department heads.

Key Duties Include:
- Manage monthly financial close, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Prepare monthly management accounts and statutory year-end reporting
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across key business units
- Partner with non-finance stakeholders, providing insight and challenge
- Deliver financial analysis and modelling to support commercial decision-making
- Drive process improvements and strengthen reporting controls
- Contribute to ad-hoc projects including systems upgrades, M&A, and integration work
- Present financial information in a clear, concise way to senior leadership
Experience & Qualifications:
- Qualified accountant (preferably audit-trained)
- 3+ years’ experience in an audit or finance function
- Solid understanding of IFRS reporting standards
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate finance for non-finance stakeholders
- Advanced Excel and modelling skills
- Commercially astute, with proven business awareness
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary: £60–70,000
