We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Milton Keynes. This English Teacher role is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified individual with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and fostering a positive learning environment. The position is offered on a Temp to Perm basis, with the possibility of a permanent contract following a successful probation period.

As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, ensuring they develop a strong understanding of English literature and language. You will be working alongside a supportive and dynamic team of professionals, contributing to the overall academic achievement and well-being of students.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering the English Teacher curriculum to students in accordance with the school's academic policies and procedures.
Planning and preparing high-quality lessons that engage students and foster a love for English.
Assessing student progress through regular formative and summative assessments.
Supporting students with their individual learning needs, providing appropriate interventions where necessary.
Working collaboratively with colleagues to improve teaching and learning outcomes.
Maintaining effective communication with parents, guardians, and staff to ensure students' progress is tracked and supported.Key Requirements:

Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance.
Proven UK Teaching Experience in English, with a strong understanding of the national curriculum.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
A passion for teaching English and inspiring students to achieve their full potential.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
