Role Overview

Join our dedicated team as a Warehouse Operative, where you'll play a vital role in our daily operations! Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading trailers, accurately picking orders, and utilising hand scanners to manage stock. This position calls for a commitment to physical fitness, meticulous attention to detail, and a focus on safety in a dynamic environment.

Pay and Shifts

• Most are Monday to Friday
• Shifts - Day and night shifts available
• Basic Pay: £14.89* (6 AM - 7 PM)
• Twilight Pay: £16.50* (7 PM - 10 PM)
• Night Pay: £16.83* (10 PM - 6 AM)
• Overtime after 39 hours: £22.35/hour*
• Generous pay for bank holidays and Sundays: £29.79/hour*

Requirements

To ensure a smooth induction process, candidates should have a good understanding of English for a 2-hour Health & Safety training.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently load and unload trailers.
• Utilise hand scanners for precise order processing.
• Sort and store goods with care.
• Prepare pallets for dispatch.
• Verify goods against delivery notes for accuracy.
• Uphold cleanliness and adhere to health and safety standards.

Skills and Qualifications

• Previous experience with loading/unloading trailers or heavy goods preferred.
• Comfort with hand scanners is essential.
• Must be physically fit for manual tasks.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and possess basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Prior warehouse/logistics experience is a plus!
