A leading global industrial solutions company is seeking a highly organised and proactive Project Coordinator to join their team. The role offers exposure to international projects and collaboration with expert teams across multiple regions.
Location: Middlesbrough (flexible working around core hours; occasional remote work for Australia/USA calls; must be able to attend site permanently if required)
Salary: £32,000 – £42,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Role Overview:
The Project Coordinator will manage and support projects from initiation through to completion, coordinating timelines, milestones, and deliverables across multiple regions. They will ensure effective communication with internal teams, clients, and external partners, managing documentation, reporting, and project administration. The role requires flexibility for international calls and meetings, and expertise with project management software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate projects across Australia, the USA, and other international locations, ensuring timely delivery.
- Schedule and attend meetings across multiple time zones.
- Maintain clear communication with internal teams, clients, and external partners.
- Manage project documentation, reporting, and administrative tasks.
- Track project progress, risks, and issues, providing solutions and updates to management.
- Support procurement, order processing, and resource allocation.
- Assist with process improvements to increase efficiency and team effectiveness.
- Microsoft Project, Zoho Projects, or equivalent project software for tracking and reporting.
Requirements:
- Proven experience coordinating projects in manufacturing, logistics, or similar industries.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project or Zoho Projects (expert level preferred).
- Flexible approach to working hours to accommodate international meetings.
- Based in Teesside with a full driving licence.
Desirable:
- Experience managing projects across multiple countries.
- Exposure to export, steel, or manufacturing sectors.
