We are seeking a dedicated Transport Coordinator to join our client's dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in transport and logistics, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is capable of making quick decisions.
Day-to-day of the role: - Answering phone calls and handling queries efficiently.
- Planning customer collections and coordinating logistics.
- Completing driver debriefs to ensure all information is accurately recorded.
- Manifesting night trunks to prepare for evening logistics activities.
- Conducting route planning for the following day to optimise delivery schedules.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Proven experience in route planning and transport logistics.
- Strong understanding of legislation related to the transport industry.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
