Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Road Freight Operator to join their Bradford office.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing the full life cycle of road freight shipments (import or export)

Coordinating collections and deliveries with hauliers, overseas partners, and customers

Preparing and checking all relevant shipping and customs documentation

Monitoring shipments, updating customers, and proactively resolving any issues or delays

Negotiating rates with suppliers to ensure cost-effective solutions

Delivering excellent customer service and building strong client relationships

Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations

Candidate Requirements:

Experience in road freight forwarding operations (import or export essential)

Knowledge of European road freight processes and regulations

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills

Confident communicator with excellent customer service ability

IT literate; experience with freight forwarding systems advantageous

Able to work both independently and as part of a team
