We now have an exciting opportunity for Business Development Manager to join a leading Freight Forwarding & logistics company offering a complete logistics, freight forwarding & marine services with a globally known, world-class fleet
The role will be selling the companies multi-modal freight forwarding and logistics services throughout the UK with a base either in the Heathrow region. Main trade lanes being Intra-European, US, Middle East, S.E Asia & China (Import & Export)
There are no set territories, being nationwide our client has a broad range of products and would expect the successful candidate to find the right type of customer / business that they align selling a complete portfolio of services
Your role will involve the full freight sales cycle you will have a strong commercial presence, operational savvy, strong fiscal understanding and a desire to succeed and surpass targets.
Knowledge of the Freight and Logistics market and previous experience in freight forwarding field sales is a pre-requisite.
You must be IT literate, well organised, have a proven track sales record and have the determination to succeed in a competitive market.

Salary: £35,000-£45,000 Circa + Car Allowance + Bonus / Commission scheme
Hours: 37.5 hours Mon-Fri
Holidays: 30 days + 8 public holidays + 1 day for Birthday
Pension / Auto-enrolment / up to 5% contributory on completion of probationary period
