Housing Support Officer – Temporary (2 Months)

Location: CarmarthenContract: Temporary (Approx. 2 Months)

We’re seeking a proactive and community-focused Housing Support Officer to join a busy housing team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone experienced in tenancy support, housing management, or customer-focused public services.

The Role

You will provide a high-quality, resident-centred housing management service, including:

• Supporting residents to maintain successful tenancies
• Managing rent accounts and taking timely arrears recovery action
• Conducting tenancy sign-ups, reviews, home visits, and estate inspections
• Assisting with allocations, viewings, and the turnaround of empty homes
• Investigating and managing anti-social behaviour cases
• Working with partner agencies to support residents with welfare, benefits, and tenancy issues

What We’re Looking For

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience in housing, welfare support, social care, or similar roles
• Ability to manage a varied caseload and maintain accurate records
• Confidence working with residents, partner agencies, and internal teams
