Teaching Assistant - Crewe - September start

Prospero Teaching are supporting a secondary school in Crewe who are recruiting for an experienced teaching assistant to join the team from September. The role is full time and will initially be until Christmas, but could be extended.

This particular role will be to support students who are struggling learning in the classroom. Therefore you will be working in the exclusion unit to support the students with their work but to also try to eventually reintegrate them back into the classroom. The students will have various needs, such as ADHD, Autism, SEMH or PTSD and many of the students also have an EHCP. You will need to be able to build strong relationships with the students you work with and have a genuine passion to see them succeed. This role will have difficulties at times but will also be extremely rewarding.

Providing tailored support and working with children with SEN and complex needsCreating a safe environment that allows children and other students have fun, learn and succeedAcademic support
