Maintenance Carpenter - 4 Weeks +, £220 pd
Location: Royal Brompton Hospital
Rate: £220 per day

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Maintenance Carpenter to join the Facilities & Estates team at Royal Brompton Hospital.
This hands-on role is ideal for someone with solid carpentry experience, particularly within a commercial, estates, or healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and general carpentry repairs

Perform maintenance on doors, frames, locks, and general fabric of the building

Work across the site to ensure facilities are maintained to a high standard

Diagnose and resolve carpentry and basic maintenance issues independently

Respond to reactive maintenance requests promptly and professionally

Follow all site health & safety and operational procedures
Requirements:

Fully qualified Carpenter (essential)

Valid Blue CSCS Card (preferred)

Proven experience in maintenance carpentry

Basic DBS (essential) or an in-date Enhanced DBS

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Contract Details:

Initial 4-week contract (potential to be extended)

Start: Monday (ASAP)

Rate: £220 per day (based on 8 working hrs)
