PA (12-Month Maternity Cover)

The Company

My client is a boutique investment bank which is the UK arm of a global company. There are over 40 people spread across two London offices. There are currently 3 PAs and an Office Manager but as the company is expected to grow, it is likely that the number of support staff will also increase. The culture is great here – there is a real family feel where everyone mucks in. It is fast paced; collaborative and cultural fit is key for new hires.

The Role

This role is to cover one of their longest standing PAs who is going on maternity leave this Autumn. The role will be supporting two MDs, three Directors and some junior members of the team. Duties will include but not be limited to:

· Complex diary management (MS Outlook)

· Event planning

· Organising corporate travel and events

· Assisting team with document preparation (MS Office)

· Undertaking meeting preparation such as printing binding of documents & info packs - at times with short deadlines

· Preparing invoices and processing expenses

· Maintaining and updating the CRM database “Dealcloud”

· Answering/rerouting of phone calls and messages for the wider team

· Dealing with confidential and sensitive information, maintaining discretion at all times

  • Bright, bubbly, reliable and energetic individual who is able to build relationships quickly and take initiative
  • Someone who isn’t afraid to nudge the executives to help best manage their time
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure and accommodate last minute changes
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage and work with strong personalities in a team
  • Capable of working on own initiative
  • Have a flexible attitude to work
  • Advanced proficiency in the MS Office suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • A positive can do & team player attitude
  • Confidentiality is a must
  • Happy to provide some personal support where necessary


  • £40K + Discretionary Bonus
  • Core hours are 9am – 5.30pm
