About the Role

In this role, you'll join a creative and experienced team delivering statutory work across:

*

Child in Need (CIN)

*

Child Protection (CP)

*

Children in our Care (CiC)

*

Care Act (for young people aged 18+)

You'll work directly with disabled children and young people and their families, helping to support, protect, and empower them as they move through key stages - including transitions to adulthood.

You'll be part of a multi-disciplinary setup, including Occupational Therapists and a growing Short Breaks Service, allowing for truly joined-up working. This is a rare chance to broaden your expertise across both Children's and Adults' frameworks, in a borough known for putting SEND families at the heart of their strategy.

About You

We're looking for a passionate and experienced Social Worker who brings:

Social Work England registration

*

A recognised Social Work qualification

*

Experience in statutory settings (Children's or Adults')

*

A strong interest in SEND practice, inclusion, and transitions

*

Commitment to person-centred planning and multi-agency working

*

A reflective, strengths-based approach to achieving outcomes for young people and families
