Meraki Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be working with a market-leading organisation based on the outskirts of Glasgow to appoint a Qualified Management Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing finance team within a business that is a true leader in its sector. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will play a key role in the financial planning and analysis function, providing critical insights to support decision-making across the business.  Key duties and responsibilities

• Produce accurate and timely monthly and quarterly management accounts to tight deadlines
• Assist in the preparation of detailed monthly management reporting packs
• Partner with the wider management team in the annual budgeting process
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and manage intercompany accounts
• Oversee and prepare weekly supplier payment runs
• Support the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors
• Conduct cost and product profitability analysis
• Lead on stock valuation and review processes
• Deliver ad hoc financial reports and project work as required

Experience required:

• Fully qualified accountant (ICAS / ACCA / CIMA)
• Proven experience in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manipulate and analyse large data sets
• Strong interpersonal skills with clear written and verbal communication
• Industry experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or engineering sectors is desirable
