Our client are looking for a Procurement Manager to join their business. The Procurement Manager will be responsible for the procurement of goods & services and management of supply & service contracts for our client’s business.

Procurement Manager’s duties include:

• Provide technical and commercial procurement expertise to key business projects across all categories (IT, Marketing, Facilities Management, HR).  
• Deliver cost reduction and cost savings opportunities
• Implement a category management approach and build a level of control across designated areas of contracted spend. 
• Negotiation with existing and new suppliers to ensure the best service and value
• Implement procurement policies and procedures, in line with best professional practices/legal frameworks.
• Promote internal understanding of the procurement lifecycle
• Ability to read, interpret and review contracts highlighting commercial implications and risks to the business
• Lead on Environmental Social Governance activities

Procurement Manager person specification:

• Experience of procurement in the following areas: IT, Marketing, Facilities Management, HR
• Track record of having delivered savings including Opex, Capex, cost avoidance, revenue improvements
• Negotiation skills.
• Understanding and experience of multiple contract law
• Stakeholder engagement experience
• Experience of having effectively delivered a category management strategy
