We are seeking a dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join a vibrant team in Canterbury. This temporary position is an excellent opportunity for an individual passionate about early childhood education and looking to make a positive impact on young children’s learning experiences.
Day-to-day of the role: - Plan and deliver creative and educational activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Observe and assess children’s development, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to explore and learn.
- Build strong, supportive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of children in your care.
- Ensure the health and safety of children at all times.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Childcare and Education.
- Previous experience working in an early years setting.
- Knowledge of the EYFS and child development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and to use initiative.
