Salary: £50000 - £60000/annum + package

Key Result Area's

Responsible for working with internal and external Stakeholders

• Working with the bid team/estimators to understand projects on the horizon and providing expert advice where necessary

• Attend design meetings and conduct site surveys as necessary and as and when required ensuring full understanding of requirements of project

• Responsible for identifying any potential challenges early in the project and raising this with the design lead in a timely way

• Identify, record and communicate all known design changes to the financial department as soon as they are known

• Carrying out site meetings as and when necessary

• Liaising with internal teams and site managers to ensure effective and timely handover of drawings for production

Responsible for the creation of production drawings using relevant systems for manufacturing purposes specifically for Joinery and associated materials.

• To audit and update the project design programme progress for reporting internally and externally

• To formulate a drawing issue programme and record outgoing and commented upon drawings out and received

• To produce detailed surveys, design drawings /or allocate and monitor work to consultants liaising.

Responsible for ensuring continuous improvement in processes

• To constantly monitor and evaluate processes providing recommendations for improvements and implementing where necessary.

• Seek to continuously improve the quality and value of administrative support provided by working with key colleagues

Responsible for positively contributing to a safe work environment ensuring compliance with relevant statutory regulations and quality standards. Protect all personal information in adherence with GDPR.

• Complete all mandatory Health and Safety training and any corporate refresher training where required

Skill and Qualifications Requirements

• Essential that you are fluent in AutoCAD 2D (minimum) working to a high level of detail and resolution

• Excellent IT Skills, (Microsoft Office)

• Familiar with Project Intranets; CONJECT, ASITE, KAHUA, VIEWPOINT, PROJECT PLUS, OPIDIS (training will be given)

• Attention to detail and a strong desire for accuracy

• Good organisational skills

• A flexible and proactive approach to work is a must in this role

• Excellent communication and relationship building skills

• Experience within a manufacturing joinery business

• Whilst B&C operate Autodesk suite of products, use and awareness of other 3D model development tools for coordination can be used

• Experience of modelling production joinery specifically using Autodesk Inventor an advantage

• Experience of 3D Modelling in Autodesk Revit an advantage
