Primary Teaching Assistant (Maternity Cover) Ackworth, West Yorkshire

Trust Education are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (TA) to join us to work at a supportive team at a welcoming primary school in the heart of the village of Ackworth. This is a full-time role covering a maternity leave beginning in September 2025, supporting pupils from Reception through to Year 6, with a particular focus on Maths and English.

About the role:

* Support teaching and learning across all primary key stages (EYFS to KS2).

* Deliver small group interventions in English and Maths.

* Provide in-class support to help children reach their full potential.

* Work closely with class teachers, SENCO and senior leaders to deliver high-quality learning.

* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.

About you:

* Experience working within a primary school setting (EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2).

* A good understanding of the primary curriculum, particularly in English and Maths.

* Strong communication skills and a patient, nurturing approach.

* Ability to work flexibly and independently across different year groups.

* Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or 3 TA qualification) are desirable.
