Job Title: Service Coordinator

Location: Croydon, CR0 1EA (Hybrid working available, 3 days office / 2 remote)

Hourly rate £19.75 PAYE / £26.03 Umbrella per hour

Contract Length: 6-month contract (possibility of extension)

Working Pattern: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 36 hours

About the Role

As a Service Coordinator within our Children's Social Care division, you'll play a vital role in supporting practitioners, social workers, and managers across the practice system. You'll provide high-quality administrative, clerical, and ICT support, helping to ensure timely and effective service delivery to the residents of Croydon.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver agile and flexible support across the practice system
Maintain and operate key databases (EHM & CRS) with accuracy
Provide guidance and training to new staff
Minute complex meetings including child protection strategy sessions
Ensure compliance with GDPR and council policies
Liaise with internal teams and external partners including schools, health services, and voluntary organisations
Support financial processes and governance in collaboration with the Children's Payment HubSkills & Experience:

Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Experience in Children's Social Care or similar environment
Proficiency in ICT systems and administrative processes
Ability to work collaboratively and independently
