This is an established and growing IT management business based in London, operating across the UK & internationally. They provide a number of IT solutions across the globe supporting a wide variety of clients to top standards.

Due to continued growth, they are now looking to hire a part-qualified to finalist level Financial Accountant, to join their dynamic finance team on a remote working basis.

Role

The Financial Accountant will play an integral part of the team offering wide support across financial reporting & transactional accounting processes. They will take on a number of key duties including:

• Completing balance sheet reconciliations to a high standard.
• Maintaining the inter-company to ensure balances are correct between various entities.
• Responsible for the preparation of financial statements and month-end packs.
• Managing the year-end audit processes and supporting on audit requests promptly.
• Working with commercial teams to provide accurate support on project costs / profitability.
• Ensure monthly and quarterly VAT returns are completed on time.
• Regularly review the WIP report, providing commentary on analysis and variations.
• Manage month-end process including journal entries.
• Collaborate with other departments and ensure financial accuracy.
• Support on ad hoc duties as directed by senior team.

Profile

The ideal profile for this Financial Accountant position, should have the following attributes:

• Experience within a similar Financial Accounting position ideally from an accounting practice background or industry trained.
• Strong technical experience and knowledge developed (accounting principles, reporting standards etc.)
• Multi-entity experience, ideally within a large business background.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Confident with Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs etc.)

Salary & Benefits

£45,000 to £52,000 plus benefits including:
