We're currently looking for a proactive and detail-driven Quantity Surveyor to support on a short-term contract, contributing to high-value developments and a thriving project pipeline.

📝 Role Summary

As a Temporary Quantity Surveyor, you'll take ownership of key commercial activities across active sites. Working closely with site teams and senior QS staff, you'll ensure budgets are managed, contracts are followed, and value is maximised. 💼📊

🔧 Key Responsibilities

📐 Assist with cost planning, tendering & subcontractor procurement

*

📑 Manage interim valuations, variations & final accounts

*

📊 Track budgets, report on cost performance & flag risks

*

🤝 Liaise with site teams, subcontractors & suppliers

*

📄 Ensure contract compliance (JCT experience essential)

*

🏗️ Attend site visits & commercial meetings as required

✅ Requirements

*

✔️ Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in residential construction

*

🏆 Background with a Tier 1 developer or main contractor (preferred)

*

📘 Strong knowledge of JCT contracts

*

🧠 Ability to work independently on fast-paced projects

*

🗣️ Strong communication & negotiation skills

*

🎓 Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent (preferred)

*

🕒 Available to start on short notice
