Gowrie House Care Home is a warm and welcoming 60 bed home in the heart of Kirkcaldy, offering high quality Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care. Our dedicated team plays a vital role in ensuring residents feel supported, comfortable and truly at home.
Activities Coordinator
- £12.71 per hour
- 24 hours per week
- Pension, Paid PVG, Uniform provided
- 5.6 weeks annual leave based on a full time contract
Role OverviewAs an Activities Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing the daily lives of residents by creating a varied and engaging programme of activities. Your focus will be on promoting wellbeing, encouraging social interaction and supporting residents to maintain their interests and independence.
You will plan and deliver both group and one to one activities, tailored to residents’ individual preferences and care needs, including those living with dementia and nursing needs. You will build strong relationships with residents and colleagues, helping to create a positive, lively and inclusive environment within the home.
Your role will also include maintaining activity records, supporting communication with families and contributing to a warm and homely atmosphere where residents feel valued and engaged.
