Traffic Operator - Salary & Benefits

* Salary - Up to £45K (Dependant on experience)

* Monday to Friday (45hrs per week)

* Optional start/finish times - 07:00-05:00PM / 08:00am-06:00pm

**Traffic Operator / Planner required** to join a highly reputable UK road haulier and container transport specialist out of their Stanford-Le-Hope and Felixstowe sites. Our client has been established now for over 60 years and are able to offer a fleet capacity of more than 200 trucks out of their sites as well as in house driver support/education.

Traffic Operator - Responsibilities

* Route planning for container movements coming in and going out of the port

* Resource allocation (Correct trucks to jobs and correct drivers to trucks etc)

* Use of TOPS system, ensuring containers and trucks are loaded correctly.

* Communicating regularly with Drivers throughout the shift.

* Working collaboratively with other sites on a regular basis

* Incident management

* Monitoring of driver's hours and WTD

Traffic Operator - Requirements

* TOPS software experience (Essential)

* Previous experience of container truck planning

* VBS software experience (Advantageous)

* 2-3 years minimum working in a similar position
