Prospero Teaching is looking for an enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to join a vibrant Primary school in Greenwich, South East London.

This is a three-form entry Primary school with a supportive leadership team. The school offers ongoing training for all staff. The position is open to both ECTs (Early Career Teachers) and experienced teachers. Depending on your performance, there is potential for the contract to be extended or even converted to a permanent role.

Type of work: Class Teacher (planning, delivering lessons, marking, parents evenings, etc.)

Start Date: September 2025

Duration/Likely Duration: 3-term contract, with potential for extension

End Date: End of the academic year (July 2026)

Contract Type: Temporary

Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-time

Pay Rate: Dependent on experience and pay scale

Hours: 8:00 am 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday (term-time only)

Experience, Training and Qualifications
QTS/ECT or equivalent teaching qualification

Minimum 1 years experience teaching KS2 (Key Stage 2)

Up-to-date safeguarding training issued within the last year

To be eligible for this role through Prospero, you MUST:
Have the right to work in the UK

Hold an enhanced child-barred list DBS on the update service, or be willing to apply for one

Provide two child-related professional references from the past two years
