Are you looking to develop your career in a collaborative and forward-thinking planning consultancy? We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing property and planning business that's looking to add a Town Planner to its expanding team in Newcastle.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded and ambitious planning professional to work on a wide variety of rural and urban projects across the North of England.

Working closely with senior team members, you will:

• Prepare and submit planning applications across a range of sectors including residential, rural, and mixed-use developments

• Conduct site appraisals, planning research, and policy reviews

• Assist in preparing planning statements, representations, and appeals

• Liaise with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders

• Support on business development and client relationship management

We're looking for someone who brings:

• A degree (and preferably a postgraduate qualification) in Town Planning or related discipline

• RTPI accreditation or working towards chartered membership

• 1-3 years' experience in a town planning role (public or private sector)

• Strong knowledge of the UK planning system

• Excellent communication and report-writing skills

• A proactive and professional approach to project delivery
