About The Role:
Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer with a passion for designing high speed special purpose machinery? Platform is working with a leading manufacturer specialising in the development of bespoke production line machinery, delivering cutting-edge solutions for high-tech industries. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on end-to-end product development, from client brief through to onsite installation.

Key Responsibilities:

* 2D & 3D CAD design

* Prototype, test, and validate designs

* Translate customer requirements into detailed specifications

* Conduct feasibility studies to assess project viability

* Write technical proposals & specifications for new development projects

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams

Key Requirements:

* Background in special purpose machinery, automation, or capital equipment

* Proven experience in taking a product from conceptual stage to production

* 2D & 3D CAD design

* Produce manufacturing drawings

* Strong knowledge of fabrication, machining, and assembly techniques

* Hands-on and practical approach to engineering
