About the Role

You will:

Carry out robust assessments, outcome-focused planning, and direct interventions

*

Manage Child Protection, Child in Need, and Care proceedings

*

Work alongside families, partners, and local agencies to build solutions

*

Support children to achieve stability, safety and permanence

*

Be part of a supportive and innovative team that shares learning and challenges

*

Practice using a Signs of Safety and Think Family framework

What We're Looking For

*

Registration with Social Care Wales

*

A degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work

*

Post-qualifying experience in safeguarding and child protection

*

Confidence in managing court work and multi-agency planning

*

The ability to write concise, analytical assessments and reports

*

Strong communication, planning, and organisational skills

*

A flexible and collaborative approach to case management
