BD Manager (Insurance) - Premier Law Firm

SALARY: £60000 - £65000 per annum

This is an exciting business development opportunity with a fantastic remit in a leading law firm. Based in the firm's London office and joining a specialist BD team, you will enjoy working with some of the industry leaders in their respective areas.

The scope of the role is very appealing as it encompasses all aspects of business development and marketing, involves a high degree of people management and also assumes a high degree of involvement with partners and associates. You will lead business development and marketing activities for the group in a way which promotes its profile, develops key account relationships and enables revenue growth. This will be achieved through the development of clear strategies and business plans, and management of an aligned range of marketing campaigns, communications and key account activity. Success will be dependent on your ability to manage resources within the BD team in order to ensure plans are delivered in a timely and efficient manner and to the highest quality. The Business Development Manager will be expected to develop strong and influential relationships with partners, lawyers and groups in the UK and internationally to cause their active engagement with and support for the sector's business development programs.

This role would suit a very bright graduate or equivalent with professional marketing qualifications and proven BD and marketing experience gained in the legal sector to include marketing communications experience and a good understanding of branding, design and the production of promotional materials. A strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to work closely with partners and associates and to influence key partners and decision making groups, it is essential that you possess a positive and tenacious personality as you will need to pro-actively drive initiatives forward and motivate resources to perform both within and outside your team.
