Job Title - Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Shifts -3 shift 6-2/2-10/10-6 (days/afternoons/nights)

Location - Hoveringham

Salary - £37-£38k per annum + overtime  

Pension - Double matched pension (5% employee contribution / 10% employer contribution)

The Company

Our client specialises in the manufacturing of products for the construction market. With over 19 manufacturing sites across the UK, they can produce anything from bricks and blocks, tiles and chimneys, to precast concrete floors and beams, as well as bespoke one off products.

Their Hoveringham site specialises in precast concrete, producing 9 beds per day with 150 meters of product. Equipment includes Buckets, beam lifters, casting machinery, cranes, mixers, crane rails. 

The Role

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for three key areas; Reactive Maintenance, Planned Preventative Maintenance and Project work. Breakdowns take priority to ensure the plant is kept running, however, there is a huge project to improve and update the site, so this is a priority for them at the moment. The duties of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be 100% electrical as the site has separate Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. Electrical tasks include swapping coponents like for like, 3 phase installation, fault finding and modifications of electrical drawings. They do also need you to be familiar with star delta.

The Candidate

To be successful in your application you must have the following skills, abilities or qualifications:

• Must have a recognised Electrical Qualification. 
• Must have experience performing electrical maintenance in an industrial environment.
• Must be happy to work within an industrial environment
• Must be happy to work a 3 shift pattern
