You will work as part of the Payroll team. We aim to offer you variety of work to enhance and develop your payroll administration and customer service skills.
Hours - 37.5 per week - Part time hours would be considered
Summary of Responsibilities and Duties
Duties will include some or all of the following:
- Setting up new payroll clients
- Reviewing and processing payrolls using appropriate software
- Liaising with clients dealing with questions and queries and advising on general payroll matters
- RTI submissions and auto enrolment pension administration
- Internal quality control checks
- Raising of invoices
- Time ledger posting
- Comply with GDPR regulations
- Comply with Health and Safety requirements
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
Minimum Requirements
5 or more GCSE’s at grade C or above to include English and Maths
Experience working in a busy payroll department - minimum 1 year
Competent with MS Office suite of products, Word, Excel, Outlook etc
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Methodical and accurate with excellent attention to detail
Desired Requirements
Fully competent with Sage Payroll
Experience working in a similar environment (Accountants, Solicitors etc)
