Senior Geotechnical Engineer - Birmingham

We are working with a small to medium-sized multidisciplinary consultancy in Birmingham that is looking to appoint a Senior Geotechnical Engineer. The company operates across civil, structural, geotechnical and planning disciplines, delivering work on a range of commercial and residential developments.

This role would suit a Senior Geotechnical Engineer who is comfortable managing their own projects and contributing to a collaborative team.

The role

Managing and overseeing ground investigations
Producing factual and interpretative geotechnical reports
Carrying out foundation design, retaining wall design and slope stability assessments
Working alongside civil and structural engineers on shared projects
Liaising with clients, contractors and other stakeholders
Supporting junior members of the teamRequirements

Experience in a Senior Geotechnical Engineer position or similar
Good understanding of UK ground conditions and investigation techniques
Experience in geotechnical design and report writing
Able to manage workload and communicate effectively
Relevant degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology or Civil EngineeringWhat's offered
