One of our welcoming secondary schools in Taunton is looking for a dedicated School Baker to join their catering team.

What You'll Be Doing

Preparing fresh bread, cakes, pastries, and baked items daily for students and staff
Following set menus and nutritional guidelines
Ensuring high standards of food hygiene and safety at all times
Supporting the wider kitchen team during busy service periods
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
Managing stock levels and reporting shortages

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in baking or catering (school experience beneficial but not essential)
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
A positive, reliable and proactive attitude
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Enhanced Child Workforce DBS (or willingness to apply)
