Cable Jointer Supervisor
Are you a highly skilled Jointer who's ready to step out of the trench and into a leadership seat? Or perhaps you're an experienced Supervisor looking for a firm that actually rewards your expertise with more than just a "pat on the back"?
We are looking for a Cable Jointer Supervisor to lead our field teams across Colchester. You'll be the technical backbone of our operations, ensuring that everything from LV to 11kV (and potentially 33kV) works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standard.
The Role:
You won't just be pushing paper; you'll be the bridge between the client and the boots on the ground. Your day-to-day will involve:

Team Leadership: Managing and mentoring multi-manned jointing teams to ensure peak performance.

Site Oversight: Conducting site audits, safety briefings, and ensuring all works comply with DNO standards and NRSWA regulations.
*
Technical Support: Acting as the "go-to" for complex jointing issues—if the team hits a snag, you're the one with the solution.
*
Liaison: Working closely with Project Managers to track progress and navigate any on-site hurdles.

What you bring to the table
To hit the ground running, you'll need a mix of technical grit and leadership "spark":

Proven Experience: A strong background in LV/HV Cable Jointing (DNO authorizations are a massive plus).
*
Qualifications: SSSTS or SMSTS, plus a valid NRSWA Supervisor ticket.
*
Geography: Based within a commutable distance of Colchester.
*
Mindset: A "safety-first" attitude and the ability to manage personalities as well as power lines.
