About the Role

Actio Recruitment is seeking a skilled CNC Turner Programmer/Setter/Operator to join a precision engineering business. This is a day-shift position offering stability working on Fanuc-controlled lathes.

Key Responsibilities

* Programming, setting, and operating CNC turning machines using Fanuc controls

* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to produce high-quality components

* Ensuring parts are manufactured to tight tolerances and customer specifications

* Conducting first-off inspections and maintaining quality standards throughout production

* Performing routine machine maintenance and adhering to health & safety procedures

Candidate Requirements

* Proven experience as a CNC Turner with programming and setting skills

* Strong knowledge of Fanuc control systems

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Competence in reading technical drawings and using precision measuring equipment

* A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement

* Day shift: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30

* Overtime opportunities available
