A luxury country hotel on the outskirts of Ipswich, proudly holding 2 AA Rosettes, is seeking a talented and detail-driven Events Head Chef to lead its refined events kitchen.
The property is known for elegant weddings, exclusive private dining and high-end corporate events — focusing on quality, presentation and guest experience rather than volume.
The Role
- Lead and inspire the banqueting kitchen team
- Deliver refined, Rosette-standard food for weddings and private events
- Create and execute seasonal, premium banqueting menus
- Ensure exceptional presentation and consistency
- Manage food costs, ordering and stock control
- Maintain the highest hygiene and compliance standards
About You
- Experienced Head Chef or strong Senior Sous from a quality hotel or Rosette background
- Passion for refined food and attention to detail
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Calm, professional and hands-on approach
- Level 3 Food Safety preferred
- Full UK driving licence essential due to countryside location
