Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Children's Support Worker to join a Children's Home based in Halton, Leeds, on an initial 2-3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week on days.

Key Duties:

* Provide personalised care and support to young people with complex needs and disabilities.

* Assist with personal care tasks including washing, dressing, toileting, and feeding.

* Support young people in developing life skills, independence, and confidence.

* Promote a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment.

* Implement behaviour support plans and use de-escalation strategies where needed.

* Support young people in social, educational, and recreational activities.

* Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning and reviews.

* Work collaboratively with families, professionals, and colleagues.

* Uphold safeguarding, health & safety, and confidentiality standards at all times.

Requirements:

* Previous experience of working with Children with complex needs, ideally within a residential care setting

* Ability to work full-time day shifts on a rota basis

* NVQ Level 2 Qualified in relevant field or equivalent experience
