Our client based in South Tyneside are looking for an experienced Building surveyor to join their team on a ongoing contract.
Job description:
* Working on damp and mould inspections within the Healthy Homes team.
* Undertaking detailed inspections of residential properties to identify causes of damp, mould and condensation.
* Diagnose building defects.
* Providing technical solutions to ensure properties meet Healthy Homes standards and statutory requirements.
Person Specification:
* Must have relevant qualification in Building Surveying (e.g. HNC/HND, Degree in Building Surveying or equivalent)
* A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
* Must have a valid Skilled CSCS card
* Experience working within social housing is highly desirable
* Successfull candidates must have the following certificates: Manual Handling, Asbestos Awareness, Working at Heights and Abrasive Wheels
