Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and supportive Mentor to work with a Year 9 student who has been referred for additional guidance and education based tutoring based in Gwynedd. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping young people build confidence, improve their learning habits, and stay motivated throughout their school journey.

You will provide structured 1:1 mentoring, focusing on academic support, wellbeing, organisation, and positive engagement with school.

Key Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 mentoring sessions tailored to the needs of a Year 9 student

Support with study skills, organisation, and motivation

Help the student develop confidence and resilience

Build a positive, trusting relationship that encourages progress

Liaise with Prospero Teaching to track progress and share updates

Deliver sessions in school or online, depending on requirements
