An established civil engineering and highways contractor is recruiting a Sub Agent to support with the management of highways maintenance and improvement works for the local authority and private clients.

The projects will consist of trial holes, drainage works and minor road maintenance schemes.

Majority of the work will be self-delivered and the work locations are across West and East Sussex.

Duties will include:

* Ensuring up and coming works have risk assessments and method statements

* Checking permits are in place and site labour, materials and plant have been ordered

* Checking levels on site when required and works are carried out as per construction drawings

* Onsite support when required

* Ensuring the project meets deadlines by managing the programme

This position will involve hybrid working across client offices, site offices and working from home. The position can be paid 'outside of IR35'.
