The basics:

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer (Both electrical and mechanical considered, however electrical skills will be required for the role)

Position: Permanent

Industry: Manufacturing

Location: Crewe

Pay: £49,000 - £56,000 DOE

Hours: Panama Shift (Days Only - 12 hrs): 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off (they run 6am to 6pm and 10am to 10pm - rotation discussed at interview)

Overtime: x1.5 Mon-Sat and x2 on Sundays

Holidays: 22 shifts.

Overview:

We now require a maintenance engineer to join the team. Working for a manufacturing business that have sites across the globe you will be working in a multi skilled role.

Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role:

To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
PPM'sThe ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

Time served apprentice trained or above
Previous experience working in a maintenance focused role within a manufacturing/production environment or similar.
An electrical understanding changing like for like parts and basic fault finding would be beneficial if you do not have electrical certifications (Electrical training can be given - the company provide electrical courses offsite)
Experienced working with Hydraulic focused machinery beneficialCommutable from:

Sandbach, Crewe, Nantwich, Winsford, Alsager, Kidsgrove and surrounding areas.
