Pay: £100–£110 per day

Contract: Full-time, from after Easter until end of the academic year

Reed Education are seeking a confident and experienced Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to support a friendly and forward-thinking primary school in Scunthorpe. This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for an HLTA looking to further their experience across the primary phases.

As the school’s HLTA, your role will include:

• Providing PPA cover and management time cover across the school
• Delivering engaging lessons across KS1 and KS2
• Supporting whole-class teaching, small groups, and intervention where required
• Ensuring continuity of learning and strong behaviour management
• Using your understanding of phonics, ideally Little Wandle, to support early reading

We are looking for someone who has:

• Proven experience working as an HLTA or strong TA experience at a higher level
• Confidence teaching across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
• Knowledge of phonics systems, particularly Little Wandle
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
• Full-time availability from after Easter until July
