Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

SANZA Teaching Agency is seeking qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) for full-time, term-time only positions starting in September 2025. These roles are based in primary schools in West London and offer an exciting opportunity to support high-quality learning across all year groups.

These are term-time only positions, typically working from 8:15am to 4:00pm. A typical day for an HLTA may involve:

Leading small group or one-to-one interventions

Supporting class teachers during whole-class sessions

Delivering planned lessons in the teacher's absence

Preparing resources and helping with classroom organisation

Supporting pupils with varying learning needs

Collaborating with staff on curriculum planning and pupil progress

Applicants must hold HLTA status and be confident in managing classrooms independently. A sound understanding of the primary curriculum and the flexibility to adapt to the day's needs are essential.
