Water Treatment Engineer - Legionella Risk & Compliance

London, Kent, Essex & surrounding counties | Full-time

We are seeking a Water Treatment Engineer to deliver Legionella risk assessments, water treatment services, and remedial works. The role focuses on compliance with ACoP L8, HSG274, BS 8558, while providing technical support to clients across healthcare, education, commercial, and industrial sites.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct Legionella risk assessments and produce detailed reports.

Carry out monitoring, sampling, disinfections, and remedial works (TMV servicing, dead leg removal, tank cleans).

*

Perform closed system analysis and chemical dosing.

*

Maintain compliance records and advise clients on system safety and efficiency.

Requirements

*

City & Guilds (or equivalent) in Water Treatment, Plumbing, Mechanical Engineering, or Environmental Science.

*

Legionella Risk Assessment qualification.

*

Minimum 2 years' experience in water treatment and hygiene.

*

Strong knowledge of ACoP L8, HSG274, Water Fittings Regulations, BS 8558.

*

Full UK driving licence.
