Pay: £85 - £95 per day (depending on experience)

Are you a compassionate, patient, and resilient Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work in Sheffield?
Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants to work on a supply basis, providing 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs in both mainstream and specialist school settings.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a child's learning and development while enjoying the flexibility and variety of supply work.

What does the role involve?

Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis with a range of SEND, including autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and SEMH

Assisting with both academic work and emotional regulation throughout the school day

Working under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored support plans

Adapting learning materials to meet individual needs

Promoting independence, inclusion, and positive behaviour

What are we looking for?

Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND (school-based or in another care/education setting)

A nurturing and calm approach to behaviour management

The ability to build strong, positive relationships with children and staff

Flexibility to work across Early Years, KS1, and KS2

A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
