Senior Architectural Technologist

Location: London

Salary: £45-52,000

An established and growing architectural team in London is seeking a Senior Architectural Technologist to play a key role in the technical delivery of projects. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a Senior Architectural Technologist to lead work from RIBA Stage 4 onwards, translating design intent into coordinated and buildable solutions across a range of sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical development and delivery of projects from RIBA Stage 4 through to completion

• Produce and manage comprehensive technical drawing packages including plans, sections, elevations, schedules and detailed construction information

• Coordinate technical design information with internal teams and external consultants

• Work closely with clients, consultants and contractors to support successful project outcomes

• Ensure all technical documentation meets current Building Regulations, housing standards and warranty requirements

• Apply strong technical expertise to ensure designs are practical, compliant and well coordinated

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Proven technical expertise gained on medium to large scale projects, ideally within residential or mixed use developments

• Strong proficiency in Revit

• Solid understanding of current Building Regulations

• Experience leading project teams and collaborating with clients, consultants and contractors

• Demonstrated ability to produce detailed working drawing packages and coordinate information effectively

• Strong communication skills with the confidence to take initiative and work independently when required

• Extensive experience working on projects typically valued at £5m or more

• Track record of delivering projects across RIBA Stages 4, 5 and 6, particularly within residential and commercial sectors

• Advanced technical detailing skills and a strong understanding of modern construction methods
