Are you an analytical problem-solver with a passion for improving how things work?

This is a unique opportunity to join a growing business where you'll take ownership of optimising and improving a fast-paced warehouse and logistics operation. You don't need years of industry experience - what matters is how you think. If you're naturally curious, data-driven, and enjoy solving complex problems, this role offers real scope to make a measurable impact.

What's in it for you?

Salary up to £50,000 depending on experience
High-impact role with real ownership and autonomy
Opportunity to work with automation and robotic systems
Open to engineering, data or analytical backgrounds
Clear progression as the business continues to grow

What will you be doing in the Operations Improvement Manager role?

Analyse end-to-end warehouse and logistics processes to identify inefficiencies
Optimise inventory management within automated and robotic picking systems
Improve picking, packing, and operational workflows to increase efficiency and accuracy
Use data to investigate issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions
Build and maintain Excel-based models, reports, and performance trackers
Develop KPIs and monitor operational performance
Work closely with warehouse teams to implement and embed improvements
Manage and improve relationships with logistics providers and external partners

What we're looking for:

Strong analytical mindset with a natural curiosity for how systems and processes work
Confident problem solver who can identify issues and implement practical solutions
Advanced Excel skills and comfortable working with data
Degree or background in Engineering, Data, Computer Science or similar (desirable)
Experience in operations, logistics, manufacturing or process-driven environments (beneficial, not essential)
Proactive, driven and motivated to make a tangible impact
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

Why apply?

This isn't a standard operations role - it's an opportunity to step back, analyse, and reshape how a business operates. You'll have the autonomy to implement change, track results, and see the direct impact of your work.
