As our client continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a skilled CNC Turner, with expertise in offline programming, to ensure the highest levels of precision and compliance in their machining processes.

Position Overview: Our client are currently seeking an experienced CNC Turner with proficient skills in programming, setting, and operating a range of Doosan CNC lathes, specifically utilizing EdgeCAM offline programming software. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of CNC turning processes and a demonstrated ability to program complex geometries for aerospace components. This role offers the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and play a pivotal role in producing critical components for the aviation industry.

Responsibilities:

* Program, set, and operate CNC lathes using EdgeCAM software to produce precision aerospace components according to engineering drawings and specifications.

* Develop and optimize CNC programs for efficient machining processes, taking into account tooling selection, cutting parameters, and material characteristics.

* Troubleshoot programming and machining issues, making adjustments as necessary to maintain production efficiency and quality control.

* Collaborate closely with engineering and quality assurance teams to implement process improvements and optimize manufacturing processes.

* Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

* Proven experience working on CNC lathes in a precision engineering environment, with a focus on aerospace components.

* Proficiency in EdgeCAM software for CNC programming and optimization, with a strong understanding of CAM principles.

* Solid grasp of machining principles, tooling selection, and cutting parameters for various materials, including aerospace alloys.

* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

* Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work with a focus on precision and accuracy.

* Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
