We are currently recruiting for a qualified Electrician to join a leading organisation within the industrial and engineering sector. This role will play a key part in delivering an outstanding service to customers while working within a supportive and collaborative team environment. They need someone who is able to think on their feet, and be able to change pace quickly, as they regularly have urgent projects come in at short notice that you will need to work on. You will work in a team of 2, with your colleague being an experienced Electrician with 15 years experience. As such they are happy to speak to you if you have at least 1 years experience +. the role will deal with both Electrical Installation & Maintenance, working on Commercial Kitchens & Modular buildings. Working on Three phase and single phase circuits and supplies.

Responsibilities include:

• Install, repair, and maintain temporary and modular units
• Use testing devices to troubleshoot electrical issues
• Identify and mitigate safety hazards, code violations, and other electrical issues
• Perform general maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
• Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations
• Collaborate effectively across departments
• Undertake ad hoc duties as required

Experience & Skills:

• Recognised electrical apprenticeship completed
• Minimum 1 year as a qualified electrician
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Solid decision-making ability
• Good written and verbal communication skills

QualificationsAn NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation  Level 3 Award in Inspection and Testing 

Package on offer is £34,000 salary + 23 days holiday plus bank holidays (increasing with tenure)+ Lunch and Breakfast provided. Private Medical Insurance, Life Assurance, enhanced Maternity/Paternity Pay, sick pay and Pension scheme.

Hours are Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm
